Fábio Cunha is a photographer based in Portugal. He combines his artistic practice with commissioned work. He is a professor and photography course coordinator at ETIC Lisboa.

He holds a Master in Architecture from the University of Porto and a Master in Photography from EFTI - Madrid. Main projects and collaborations are: “Liepa” produced in the scope of Kaunas Photo Gallery artistic residency; “Sala de Aula” as part of the artistic residency Vivificar - Ci.CLO. “Rua Fonte do Mundo” as part of the artistic residency from Festival Encontros da Imagem Braga and Flâneur ao Centro - Procurarte. He was one of the artists selected for Parallel Platform, exhibiting his work in Europe in different festivals and galleries. He received the DocField Dummy Award – Fundació Banc Sabadell- Barcelona, publishing his book Zona with Phree, La Kursala and Photographic Social Vision. In 2017 his book Zona was selected as one of the best books of the year by PhotoEspaña.
